I was browsing Garrett's site when I noticed this page which states: "For those familiar with our product range, this means that the unit formerly known as "the GT28R" (part number 466541-1) is now in the GT25R family. More specifically, it is now a GT2560R model."As confusing as that may be, that isn't specifically what has me scratching my head. Some searching on TT.net indicates that the JWT 530BB's are "GT25R" turbos, and specifically not the turbo formerly known as GT28R (Prince reference anyone?). So this is where I get lost. If GT2560R = GT28R, then what the heck is a 530BB? The only other turbo in the GT25R class is the GT2554R which shows a completely different compressor outlet flange, but that's the smallest BB turbo they offer. So what is a 530BB??? Has it been the "GT28R" (aka GT2560R) all along?
